Exercises To Target Inner Pecs

A lot of people want exercises to target their inner pecs so they can hold pens and pencils between their massive pecs. Here are my top three exercises to target the inner pecs:  .  .  . Last week we talked about exercises that target upper and lower pecs.  Muscles are attached to a different bone on each end so they can pull and cause motion.  The pecs attach on the upper arm and then either to the collarbone (upper pecs) as shown below, or the sternum (lower...

Upper Pec and Lower Pec Chest Exercises For Mass

Upper Pec And Lower Pec Chest Exercises For Mass So what exercises work lower pecs and which work upper pecs. My standard answer to beginners is not to worry about it and just do a good all-around chest workout. But since you REALLY want to know, lets talk about it.   First thing to notice is that the upper pec is really small compared to the lower pec and the thing this immediately tells you is that for chest mass, you want to work the lower pecs. The pec major is one muscle but it attaches at different points which...

I have found it much more effective and less frustrating to ACT rather than complain and this goes for all aspects of my life. Act locally! You can make an immediate positive difference and as a side benefit, set an example for others. I use this philosophy in all aspects of my life, including fitness. Getting Rid Of Stomach Bloat

What causes stomach bloat and how do you get rid of it?  The first thing to remember about bloating is that when it comes to the size of our stomachs, we are often our own worse critic.  Just because you *feel* bloated doesn't mean that anyone would be able to notice with a before and after photo sequence. There are five causes of stomach bloat: gas, water retention, fiber, excess food, and medical problems.  Lets start with the last first, eating too much.  Gluttony causes bloat as many who have stuffed themselves at a holiday meal can attest to. They...

How To Fix Rolled Over, Rounded, Hunched Shoulders

Rolled over, stooped, hunched shoulders is a very, very common problem with beginning and intermediate bodybuilders.  We are going to talk about what causes it and how to fix it.  Often its not a posture issue which can be fixed just by thinking about it and holding yourself in a certain position but rather a muscular imbalance. Software Internship and Masters Thesis Possibility for BMR Research on Athletes

In making my new accurate calorie calculator, I once again discovered how primitive the state of the art is for estimating the BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate). The equations are good starting points but people on fringes of what is normal for the population gets less accurate results. As athletes/bodybuilders, my guess is that we dont fit well into these models based upon average populations - I could be wrong, but I want to find out. I want to run an online study in an attempt to see how the actual BMR of bodybuilders compares to the basal metabolic rate estimated by...
