The Jeff Seid Challenge!

I challenge Jeff Seid to a meal planning contest. Jeff Seid's custom meal plan is $59.95, the custom meal plan I design for you is FREE.  Clearly since his costs $60, his is better, right?  Well lets see!  If you have paid Jeff Seid to give you a custom meal plan, please design a free one using my custom meal planner and compare.  Post both meal plans to a fitness forum and ask people which meal plan is better for your fitness goals (fat loss, muscle gain, health improvement, etc).  Ask them if they think one of the meal plans...

Half Million Meal Plans Made!

I am pretty excited, it appears that others like my custom meal planner software as much as I do!  I wrote it to help me cut for my men's physique competition and knew it was something that would benefit serious athletes everywhere but had no idea it would be so popular.  Over 300,000 people have made meal plans using the software so we are rapidly coming upon the half million mark! I have decided to do a little contest.  For the person who designs the 500,000th meal plan, I will give a signed scoobsworkshop t-shirt. Doesn't matter where you live,...

Too skinny?

Are you too skinny? “Skinny” - PILLOW SCREAM!!!!!   I hate the word "skinny" even more than that damn word "toning", why?  I will tell you why.  Its because its a meaningless, judgmental, and misleading word that leads people to do stupid things.  People think the solution to skinny is to eat more but all that does is make them fat, weak and fat (aka "skinny-fat").   You are NOT skinny, you are weak!  How do you correct being weak?  YOU LIFT WEIGHTS! Let me say this once again.  There are two completely separate things, gaining muscle and getting your bodyfat...

Are you underweight?

Are you underweight? “Underweight”, I hate that term. Are you willing to add fat just to weigh what some bean counter at an insurance company says you should? Of course not, weight is not a good goal. Increasing LBM (Lean Body Mass) is a great goal. Getting a healthy bodyfat percentage (6-12% for men) is a great goal. Those two goals are completely separate, they have nothing to do with one another.  Set those two goals and dont worry about the bean counters BMI charts. Alles klar?

Meal Timing While Cutting

There is no law that says that meals must be at certain times of the day, in fact, it is better if you have more flexibility than that.  There is no law that all meals need to be equally spaced throughout the day either! When you are trying to lose fat, you need a lot of flexibility with meal timing because avoiding hunger is of the utmost importance if your fat loss program is to be successful.  What is most important is that you eat when you are hungry, not "snacks", real meals.  Your stomach does not have a clock,...

Scooby in Vienna 15. Juli 21:00 St. Stephan Dom

I am very excited to be back in Australia! Just kidding, I find it very funny when Americans confuse Australia and Austria.  Last time I was in Vienna was in 1988 when I was studying German at the Goethe Institut in Priem am Chemsee. I have such fond memories - It is such an amazing city! Those living in Europe dont really appreciate this but to be able to see buildings built before 1700 gives you an amazing connection to the past. In America, "old" means before 1900. Actually, I live in an "old" house in California becuase it was...
