Its not a pill, its not a shot, its PHOTOGRAPHY!  By choosing the right camera angle and lighting.  Notice in the above photo the taper is much more impressive in the photo on the right side which makes me look a LOT more muscular.  Also note that in the right photo I have a bit more twist.  What that means is that I turned my hips sideways to the camera to make my hips look smaller while keeping the shoulder square to the camera to make them maximum width.  This is subtle but I use this effect more in the right photo than in the left one.  Also note that the right photo was taken from waist level whereas the right one, the camera is at head level.  The reason this important is that items closest to the lens look bigger.  When the camera is at head level, the shoulders look huge and the waist looks small – thats what we want.  Hip level gives a more accurate representation of the physique but who wants reality?  LOL!

To answer the question, these photos were taking 24 hours apart and I was trying my hardest in each case to look as good as possible.  My weight and bodyfat were identical.
