This is the transponder antenna, it is located behind the co-pilot
seat about 6" behind the landing gear. Powdercoating has been
removed so antenna can connect to the aircraft ground. |

This is the communications antenna located on the rearmost antenna
mount in the fuselage. Notice in the underside view that the
powdercoating has been removed so antenna can connect to the aircraft

This is the VOR navigation antenna located as high as possible on
the vertical fin. It is securely attached to the metal tubing
below the rib. The closeup shows the access area without the
covers on. |

After much debate and discussion with other builders, I decided to
mount the Emergency Locator Transmitter antenna inside the fuselage.
I decided it was better to have an intact antenna after a crash rather
than an external antenna. Here you can see that it is firmly
mounted to the same 1/4" plate that the ELT is mounted to. |
