Okay so I've read up a lot of useful information on Scooby's website and it has helped me out greatly and I'm currently using his Intermediate workout plan and I love it.  Thing is, I have been lifting for over a year and I've been making good gains, but I'd like to know if the advanced workout schedule would be best for me?

I don't know if this is enough information for a good answer so I'm willing to elaborate more if asked.  Thank you.

Well I would say yes because you've been lifting for a year but the advanced workout is a bit of a big step forward so to determine so I think you'd have to ask yourself if you're ready to take that big step.

How long you've been lifting is irrelevant, as some people, like the legendary StealthSwimmer, tend to make zero progress withing 4 years. Wink
Some additional info would be nice: age, weight, height, BF estimate, some measurements and lifts, maybe.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Age: 18
    Weight: 145 lbs.
    Height: 6'0"
    BF estimate: 5%

As for those stats, I'm not exactly "huge" but over the past year I've become pretty toned and have buffed up a tad and I'm looking for a good workout plan to continue muscle growth and fitness overall.  I also do cardio every day, running 2 miles roughly, some days more than others.  I was just looking at Scooby's advanced workout plan and it does seem appropriate.  I just wanted to have some feedback just in case because I really don't want to over do it y'kno? Thanks again.

Well, you are of appropriate age, seem a bit lacking of weight, but not necessarily (nobody here will tell you you're skinny until you're over 200 lbs Wink), so I can't see anything which would prevent you from starting the advanced routine. If you think gains will come faster/in greater portions than with Intermediate routine, go for it, although if you are still seeing continuous gains with the Intermediate, than maybe you should stick to it. Check it out. Wink

6'0 and 145 would have to be a reeeeeally low BF%.  I'm assuming your body-type is ectomorph?

Yeah my body type is ectomorph.  I was somewhere around 3% over a year ago and 130 pounds.

I got that number from some machine a doctor had me step on. Don't know how accurate it was because to me it was ridiculous sounding because even then I wasn't like bone skinny to the point where ribs were showing. I don't have that problem so it was probably wrong. Although I would like to know the exact percentage I'm at now since I've been lifting and eating healthy for over a year now.

For a body ft calculator, http://www.criticalbench.com/calcs.htm I use that.  it seems pretty accurate.

As far as the advanced workouts, I will tell you what I told someone else.  Try the advanced workouts, if you can do them, then replace the intermediate workouts with the advanced ones.  for that muscle group.  For instance: lets say advanced = ultra wide pushups, and ultra wide pullups, intermediate = reg pushups, and reg pullups.  well you can do pushups easy, ultrawide are easy for you, but the reg pullups you are struggling with.  well replace reg pushups for ultra wide pushups, and keep reg pullups.  So replace whats too easy for you, with something harder.  and if the easier lifts are still hard for you, then don't go any higher.

You will be essentially be combining the intermediate and advanced to make your own plan, with scooby's lifts.  Scooby's plans act as a guideline, if they are too easy/hard, replace them with some variation of that, that is more challenging.
