Skull crushers are my favourite tricep exercises. I love going heavy on these and right to my forehead. I definitely felt my triceps harder than before just after a few sessions with these added in!

i agree with big bicep small arm. i used to only do cable push downs and i never felt like it was effective. I tried kickbacks and i couldn't fell it either.

I tried skull crushers and it burned like hell.
I also got really good DOMS with these.

I noticed you were doing these on the floor; Can you do chest exercises like this too (i'm sorry I don't know the name of the exercise i'm referring too - beginner ha ha - but its sort of the same idea as a push-up except on your back)? Also, are there any tricep exercises you can use a dumbbell for other then a kickback (And I take it using a bed for support doing kickbacks isn't good either?)?
Thanx

- Also, should scooby actually be reading this: I greatly appreciate your videos and attitudes towards the free exchange of information, you are a very good person

Maybe it's because you were moving your elbows a lot whereas the elbows need to be stationary & keep your upper arms tight like you're squeezing your chest together. Skull crusher makes my arms so exhausted that I just wanna let that weight go & smash my face. It gives me a good pump to my triceps except I don't like it as mush I like dips & kickbacks.
