hello, everyone.
I'm 18 years old, I graduated high school June of this year, and have been working as a mechanic since.   Mostly to make ends meet, as I'm enlisting in the Army.   Well, hopefully enlisting, a childhood injury has made my experience a total paperwork mess.
Anyway,I've come across this website in the last few days, and I'm really impressed.   It's really motivated me again.

A little background: Living in the south makes it hard to eat healthy, everyone I know fries most of what they eat, and swallows cups of soda with every meal.   Around late junior year of high school, I weighted in at 240 pounds, had troubles sleeping and felt bad most of the time, so I decided to do something.   I stopped drinking soda, started eating healthier(Something I'm still trying to improve on) and doing some exercise.
I've dropped down to 185, but for the past month or so, kind of hit a dead end.   I'll admit, I was kind of getting frustrated, then, recently I ran across a Scooby video while looking for stuff on Youtube, and it was like a moment of clarity.   So, I've came up with a more clear cut exercise program, and am working on cleaning up my eating habits even more.    I am 100% determined to never be that badly overweight again.

Anyway, it's going to be at least four more months until I go to basic, so I've got some time to improve myself before it becomes my job to stay in better shape.

Thanks for reading.   I actually find it helps to tell my story.

Yeah, I've built up my arms a lot.
I started out with kind of an advantage in that department, my arms are pretty nice from carrying hay and feed sacks.
I neglected to mention that my parents board horses, I've carried many 50 pound sacks.
