HahahahAHAHaHaha! That was brilliant; hugely amusing, excellent use of Hans and delivered perfectly.  Smiley

This is why I quit drinking back in the spring - and would have been MUCH earlier if I hadn't promised my housemate that last time. Grrrr...

Stopping drinking isn't hard (I quit smoking a few years back and THAT was hard...) and your balance improves, concentration improves, no hangovers so that whole half a day you spend rolling around in bed comes back to you, everything gets better.

Btw Scooby try gouramis - they're peaceful as anything and look lovely if you get sick of angelfish. Smiley

haha well unfortunantly im one of those 16-19 year olds (19 to be excact) that go to the gym and often talk about how wasted im gunna get on the weekend.  and i also take creatine so im a double bad guy.  but the amount of creatine i take is only 5 grams a day so my liver shouldnt be on deaths door.  especially since it didnt have any trouble filtering that 6 pack of rum followed buy a bottle of straight shit last weekend haha.  but seriously i know its bad but am i a pro bodybuilder. .  no.  do i eat right. . yes.  do i train hard. .  yes.  do i get results. .  very yes.

I dont believe getting drunk one night a week has affected my progress in the gym or hurt my liver in reguards to also supplimenting. . .  i guess all the rum i drank might have hurt it a little though haha.  I'm young and having fun and in the coming years ill most likely only drink on special occasions or on the odd weekend. . .  ill never be the "have a few after work" or "have a few to fall a sleep" kinda guy.

im not defending alcohol.  but me being a 19 year old who needs to live his life i think . .  for now atleast that the weekend binge isnt THAT bad, yes its unhealthy in general and if i continue to do so for a number of years it will hurt ones liver. . .  but in reguards to my progress in the gym ehhh not so detrimental. .  in my opinion.

P. S its my first post and i would like to say scooby your a champ

I agree with Kano...
Im 18, i smoke cigarettes.. i get drunk every weekend.. i drink soda almost everyday...
I NEVER eat candy, chips, anything.
I sleep 8-14 hours in a row, everyday
I lift everyday nomatter how fucked up i was the day before... i mean, if i get home late in the morning, i will still run drunk
I often go 2 times daily to the gym, once to do cardio, once to lift.
I eat all the time, even when im drunk (that shit usually makes me hungry as hell) i eat for a fortune everyday, im gambling my rent when i first start eating

Ive achieved 54kgs - 74kgs (19-20kgs) in nearly 2 years.
Ive put my bodyfat from 9% to 3-4%
Ive icreased muscle size heavily
Ive reduced the skinfat alot
Ive got my long waited 8pack

So even tho i live a charming life, ive done progress...
Im quitting drinking and smoking tho, im not advicing to do any of the stupid things i do...
Without doubt that this stuff affects your body in alot of bad ways, but its not all depending on your gains from bb...

You should be young while ur young, and keep lifting...
If you wanna make the olympias.. then yes.. quit bad habbits, quit studies, quit everything, quit living

but me being a 19 year old who needs to live his life i think

it's kinda sad when i hear people saying this.  drinking for fun.  bleah.  rather have sex.  you get pleasure, and burn some calories at the same time!

well i live in australia so the drinking age is 18 and on a friday night EVERY SINGLE ONE of my friends is either at the pub or at a house party and if i want sex like your saying i would have to ditch my friends for it. . .  and you know the saying "mates before dates" plus most of the chicks are out drinking anyway.  oh and can i add that being the sober dude at the pub or a party is probly the most annoying things in the world i did it once and words cant describe how irritating it was.

i dont smoke, do drugs, eat junk food, drink soft drink.  just have 'funtime' once a week. . .

Sorry, but sounds more like an old tale of being the sheep in the pen, rather then the wolf that stalks them. The one thing I have learned about "Friends" is unless you have something to offer them or they need you they are more then likely ready to stab you in the back for there own gain. I have 1 true friend, it takes a long time before I will consider someone more then a acquaintance.

So in short, I do for me not what someone wants me to do or be.

lol why would i want to be the wolf? if i was the wolf i would be home doing nothing.  i like my friends i see them all through the week and the time i spend with them while drunk on friday nights is awesome, plus i get to catch up with all the people i havent seen in a few weeks its great.  i just dont see why i should throw that away.

OK lets analyze that for a moment, if when you are sober you are annoyed by the drunks... how is it cool? If you can find nothing but to go out and drink or sit home that is also very sad as there are a million other things to do besides sit home or go out and drink.

Ok but don't forget that this forum has certain rules regarding language; it has to be decently appropriate as there are minors on this forum as well.
