scooby: since creatine occurs naturally in meat sources, would it be the next best thing for vegetarians to get creatine from supplements?

I would try and steer clear of creatine supplements. Several other food types including alfalfa sprouts, raw nuts, and seeds have what you are looking for.

A good life skill is to learn how to have fun while sober. A group that is only good friends when drunk may not be the best friends you could choose. Well said. +Karma I am with dodo on this one! Scooby hit it right on the nose; When you have "drinking buddies" they typically are only your buddy as long as you are drinking. Otherwise their quality of friendship is slim to none. I use to have "friends" like this, but I have limited my drinking, so therefore have had to limit my "kickin it" with them.

Remember this with taking it as a supplement Do you need to “cycle” creatine?
The theory behind cycling is that if you keep giving your body a substance it will eventually get lazy and stop producing it itself. I agree with this theory. There have been no long term studies (I mean over 10+ years) that can conclusively prove or disprove this theory so I’d rather be safe than sorry! It’s always a good idea to give your body breaks for any supplement. I have found that 8 weeks on and 4 weeks off works well for me but by all means experiment for yourself!
That is one of the reasons it is better to just do it naturally, no need to turn off your own bodies abilities by mistake.
If someone wants to know how the body "makes" creatine here is some info on that.
What is creatine?
Creatine is a substance made by the body and used to store energy. The chemical name for Creatine is methyl guanidine-acetic acid. Creatine is made up of three amino acids - Arginine, Glycine and Methionine. Our liver has the ability to combine these three amino acids and make creatine.

You have no where to play a sport? Fix something? Work on a car? Start a midnight garden? I can give you a loooong list if you would like.
I really could use one of those lists -_-' Not that I drink or anything... Just need to find something else but computers hehe

Crank up some music and Hyper Dance.
Make up poems or songs about your boredom.
Nap.
Make a List of all the Fun Things you want to do in Life.
Stand on your head and learn to walk on your hands.
Catch a fly, then put in a jar and stick in the fridge (this cools their metabolism down), then tie the fly to the end of a thread 15in. and hold the other end of the thread while you watch it fly around (We have tested this and it works - a lot of patience is involved).
Clean or organize something that you have been avoiding for a long time.
Plan a journey - Check out the airfare, hotel, and activities.
Washable crayons are a wonderful invention. Pick a wall and invite friends.
Go to your nearest hiking trail and go for a hike.
Make faces at strangers to make them laugh.
Detail your car, interior and exterior. (Get out the tooth brush.)
Play a prank on someone
Walk around a public park, every so often pretend to trip on a 'invisible' wire. (The look's you will recive are pricless.)
Play knock knock leaving freaky anonymous notes behind. (Just don't get stupid with the note's, and please do not go out drinking AND THEN use this as an alternative.)
Laser tag.
Paintball.
Bring some friends and some life jackets - go out in two canoes on a lake and try to sink each other's canoe.
Fishing.
Scheme a prank to play on one of your "friends" Its always fun to play pranks on friends. (Replace the meat in your friend's sandwich with cardboard.) Have an Olympics outside with your friends and see who wins.
Take your car to a race track where you can drive as fast as your car will go.
Go Cliff Jumping.

What about Guinness? A Guinness a day keeps the doctor away. Yeah alright I'll lay off the Guinness but it makes me feel so good and strangely brave.

I dont think "not drinking beer will make you lose 15lb of fat" it will just not gain that amount. I've never touched beer and I certainly am not losing 15lb of fat per year Great video though, and funny as hell.
