I didn't really learn too much stuff that was new as I've first handedly experienced alcohol and cardio. What I actually was relieved to hear is that you shouldn't take supplements, which I have in the past, and am not now.
I gained 50 lbs. from beer over the past 10 months and am slowly learning a new test of tolerance/endurance at the gym. It is much slower, but conditioning in it's own sense.

Great vid scooby.
Never been a big drinker myself, except when I was a kid and had no idea wtf I was doing to myself. You're spot on with friends too, drunk or otherwise. Getting older makes you realise that convenience aquaintances are abundant but the moment the boat starts to rock they'll throw you overboard. Friends are much harder to find.
Also, where in Aus are you from Kano? I'm from Sydney.

Read this articles and the links to the studies it quotes. Not only does it hurt in terms of calories but also in term of testosterone and fat lost...
