Sorry if this is the wrong section

I could eat white fish (haddock/cod etc) all day but when it comes to Salmon, it tastes like death to me Lips Sealed

I've tried smothering it in lemon and other things but I still have to force it down, with a couple gags inbetween Cry

Any recipes which would make this nasty fish tolerable for me?

Thanks in advance

i would cut this fish out of ur life. it has to much calories+fat! REPLACE THIS FISH WITH TUNA!

heres a tip:
50g salmon
1 slice whole-grain bread
1 Onion(cuttet into slices or stripes)
mustard

just put the salmon + onion + mustard onto your bread...
one question: Why do u eat salmon at all?

Where are you getting your salmon from, and what type of salmon is it?

I have trouble with fish that tastes fishy, and I can eat good salmon just fine.   My guess it is a problem of freshness.   I also don't like Atlantic Salmon at all, it has a murky taste I don't like.

Salmon is my most favourite fish, of course it has fat, but it's most important fat: omega-3, very healthy and you have to provide it to your body becouse it can't be syntesized by your organism like other kinds of fat.
I love the taste of it, i can't understand how you don't like it?
Most of the time i grill it in my electrical oven with grill function, every side for about 8 min in 250 C degrees, then i put some lemon juice on it (it's not only for taste, but with lemon juice you can absorb more good nutrients from fish).
Sometimes i cover it with aluminium foil, i add dill or chives and lemon slice inside.
You can find many recipes on the internet.

If you have a barbecue:
A fillet of salmon
a water soaked cedar plank
On the side of the plank that will hold the fish
  sprinkle of salt
1 tsp of pepper (or more if you like the taste)

Add a little bit more pepper on the fillet

Place the salmon on the plank in the center of the BBQ.  turn burners to low for 1 hour.  Keep an eye on it to avoid the plank from catching on fire.  Smoke is good fire is not... Cheesy

This is very easy and have a very nice smokey flavour.  Can sub any spices you like to change the taste.

I don't eat cooked Salmon.  Raw yes, cooked No.  But i do make it from my family and friends.

Bar B Que is the way to go.  Especilly gas Q's.

Try laying the fish on a large piece of Foil.
Spice to your liking with Pepper, Dill, Green Onions, etc.
Add a couple of teaspoons of water.
Fold and Seal Up the Foil and set the package on your BarB Grill.
Let steam until done.

The foil will keep the meat moist and Yummy.

I absolutely looove the way my mom  makes salmon, and it's hella easy. All you do is steam it, and its ready. Of course, I do love adding lemon and the hot sauce 'tapatio' to make it real tasty, but it's pretty expensive so i only have that sparingly Sad

Here:
Get your piece of salmon
put it in a pan, it can be small or large depending on the size of the salmon, usually its small, make sure its a deep pan.
put in it a mix that is half water and half vegetable juice (V8 works fine) and have it cover the fish.
put to high and when it starts to boil, turn to medium heat.
cover and it should be done in 10 minutes
Mm, mm, MM!

wrap it in bacon, deep fry it then dip it in breading and deep fry again!! it won't be good for you but. . .  actually no that doesn't sound good either, never mind.

actually,
i like to have rice with mine.  when i make rice i will put in onions, jalepeno, and some lemon juice to give the rice flavor.  with about 5-7 min left i put chunks of salmon in with the rice to steam cook it.  pretty tasty! salt and pepper to taste.  spinach is good in there too for extra nutrients.
