Alright, unless you wana be ronnie coleman, screw the whole idea that you have to drink nonfat milk in order to have a six pack and big arms. I use 1% milkfat all the time and I dont have the most defined six pack out there, but at least its there and if I can eat what I want 1 time daily and have a lean waist and gain bigger arms slowly, why not!? ok enuff about that, i do watch wat i eate 80% of the time... So, to make normal oatmeal tasty without all the he extra calories and sugar, dont get those sugary packs, instead get normal disguisting oats, milk of your choice (prefereably 1%) and add a scoop of your favorite jelly ( I love using blueberry jam) mix it in there after oatmeal is hot and bam!! I just added great taste for only about 8 more calories, since I dont use a whole spoonfull. Don't need to thank me, although I know all of you are gonna try it and wonder y u didnt do this before. U'll never go back tho those normal disguisting oats again!
Here are some more recommendations from our friendly bodybuilders in the page (additives)
agave nectar cocoa powder cinnamon, applesauce honey scoop of protein, black strap molasses blueberries, bananas, yellow raisins

I normally have my porridge with either juiced up saltanas, honey or a chopped up banana. It tastes quite good.
I use the skim milk. It is something that you have to get use to at first as it is an aquired taste. So people who are not use to non fat milk could gradually lesson the fat content of milk. For example half a cup of non-fat milk to half a cup of regular milk then reduce gradually.

Whenever I read how many people dislike oatmeal I wonder if I even know what oatmeal is, maybe I'm eating some special oatmeal that tastes great. A cup of oatmeal, some warm 0.5% fat milk and a pinch of cocoa powder, yummy! That's like a dessert for me now.

I am also a lover of oatmeal but I know where some people come from. I was at my in-laws once and they ask what I wanted for breakfast so I said oat meal. My father in law loved the idea and made some. My wife kicked me under the table. The reason, i found out several minutes later, is that the oatmeal was like a brick I had to cut it with my spoon. I swear I had seen softer shoe's sole... the weird thing is that how he liked it...
So preparing oatmeal goes a long way into liking it or not.
