okay so here's a very easy protein pancake recipe i usually make once a week or twice a week.

1/2 cup of cottage cheese
1/2 cup of oats
4 egg whites
one teaspoon of cinnamon

blend together for 20-30 seconds

pour in bowl and add blueberries and cook just like pancakes

use pam to grease the pan, spray it after every pancake, so they don't stick

it tastes like your cheating but your not!  Grin

add sugar free syrup for even better flavor!

Could the cheese be substituted by another type of cheese? like Swiss, mozzarella or something?

Whats the best way to get egg whites without the hassle of separating them oneself?

i think egg white are easy to separate, just crack it and jump yoke from one shell to the other while white drops out ;p, but the beaters are good, i just think it taste better from right out of the egg itself

But why just the egg white? is it that the yoke is fatty / not as good for you?

Correct the yolk is the fat content of the egg as well as the source of the cholestoral.  Personally eat the whole egg.
