I spoke with Msh about a tricep bar, and didn't realise that there were so many different exercises you could do with it. It got me thinking that Scooby could do a video or several videos even, on the versatility of different training equipment.

Example Tricep bar: a) the best two exercises b) some good exercises and c) how not to use it...

Everyone knows what you can do with a dumbbell, but what about a tricep bar, or a barbell, or an EZ curl bar... or maybe some funky dumbbell techniques that are rarely used but could provide a good mix up to your routine for plateau busting Cheesy

i think this is interesting, mostly because for the tricep bar i only thought of behind the head extensions, while from the post you mentions i heard you could use it for a few more exercises.

and it'd probably be a good buyers guide for people who need that other bit of advice to decide on what to buy on a limited budget.  i didn't know if i want to buy an e-z curl bar and dumbbells or just dumbbells, but i decided on just dumbbells because as of right now the e-z bar isn't really necessary.

another thing i feel could be mentioned on here would be the reasons on why not use a barbell for curls and reverse curls because of the unnecessary stress on the wrists and why it's better to use a dumbbell or ez bar for certain exercises.

Cool, I agree with your post and those would make great additions to the video/s as well. Definitely good idea on the 'buyers guide' thing, Scooby promotes working out and getting in shape not having to cost lots of money, and I'm on the fence about getting an EZ curl bar at the moment as well

Great idea! but a comment about the EZ curl...  I don't know where I heard it from (maybe Scooby, idk) but the EZ curl is actually not very good because with the skinny grip, you don't extend your arm right out far enough, there fore working your bicep unevenly and you would have a lopsided bicep (if used often enough).  with the wide grips, your arms are too far out, and I forget why, bu tthat's bad  Cheesy

Great idea for a vid though!

PS:  Even though you can curl more weight with the EZ curl,  I don't use them.. I tried it just to se how much I could do, strait back, good form, I curled a 45 plate on each side for a 2 rep...  soo that's like 111 I think... cuz the easy curl bar is 21 pounds I think.
