Hi scooby, In your lower back pain section on your website you show some strenghtening exercises for the lower back, I think a video showing how to perform them correctly would be very useful!!!

that one is really missing. heavy deadlifts are essential.

scooby doesn't do deadlifts, they aren't safe unless you do them with perfect form.. and even then id say they're iffy ...unless you have a full body mirror you could be doing them wrong...and then you hurt your back then you might be done forevers

you should use a full body mirror anyway.

most free weight exercises might harm joints with from wrong. simple as that.

unfortunetly there is no alternative. squats are also missing.

by the way: the risc factor isn't really less with bent over rows. scooby made a video about them...

i know that the deadlift is probably the hardest exercise, but that is because it involves most moscles.

im guessing most people that do deadlifts do them in a gym... so why don't you just use the leg press machine, do lunges, and the leg curl machines... they're all way safer and they're the same muscles,  except lower back but the you can just do extensions.  no reason to ruin your back over shortcuts

yeah i think they aren't safe, i was bored the other day and tried the gym jones 300 workout which is 25pullups, 50deadlifts, 50floor cleaners, 50pushups, 50 clean an press, 50 jumps on to a 24" bench, an 25 more pullups and the goal is to get that all done in 20min i did it in 18.5 but anyways it was horrible to do that all fast and i never do deadlifts and tried them and its been like a day and a half of lower back pain its awful hahaha but its going away, no more deadlifts for me

none of these exercises hits the lower back...

nothing satisfies as much as the feeling after deadlifts or squats with more than 300lbs^^

the pump after back exercising is pretty funny imo.

deadlift
stiff leg deadlift
deadlift lockouts
good morning
stiff leg good mroning

there are some exercises for that muscle... there should be one to record. the deadlifts are to be preferred.

Sounds like a great idea to me.  Lower back is one of the more important things to work out so that way when you get old, you don't end up having back problems.  I'd love to see Scooby do some Dead Lifts.

a deadlift is the best way to gain real strange. the strongest shoulders and arms are useless, if you back can't hold it. so something should be done with the lower back at all cost.

i dont think having your lower back take 600lbs is good though...
