Rest and nutrition are more important to muscle growth than lifting.Much more important. If you don't get enough sleep then your muscles won't grow that much and won't get "hard".That's because when you sleep a good sleep(about 8 hours straight) you muscles grow.Your body refreshes/changes the cells in you entire body(muscles, skin etc)when you are sleeping-that's when you muscles grow.I red an article about it and it made a strong impression on me.I don't have a link to the article but i'm sure scooby knows what i'm talking about. P.S. Scooby if this information is not enough for a video or you are not familiar with this i can find more information and sources.

I think people on these boards know how to sleep and also know how important it is to muscle growth. However, other then I know it's important, I know nothing else about it. So I voted great idea since maybe there is something I'd like to know about.

whats the problem about that? 8-10 hours of sleep the day and maybe 12 after very hard workouts.

he wouldn't be doing it so much on how long to sleep but what the effects of it are on a bodybuilder that amount of sleep is the common recommendation. -growth happens while sleeping -it's necesarry to recover your central nerve system (especially when your workouts intensity is high) -it's important to keep the hormone levels correct get a big serving of slowly acting protein + omega 3 fat acids ("Leinsamen", dno the english word) before you sleep and sleep that amount of time and everything will be fine. that questions is simply to be answered far to fast to fill a video, which is longer than 1 minute.

Honestly, I don't think this is a very good idea. What would he talk about? Or show? Different ways of sleeping? Lol I'm not trying to sound mean, but I'm serious. I think the best thing would that if Scooby ever did decide to do something on sleeping, it should be an article of maybe 2-3 paragraphs (if it needs more, then by all means, use as many as it takes) and explain how sleeping is important and that doing stuff like not getting enough hours, or sleeping at irregular intervals is bad (if it is, I don't know). That would be nice to see.

Telling about the importance of sleep...
I worked 3-shifts for a year, don't get me started on sleep! Of course having a good sleep is important, but not only for muscle growth.
A "no" for me.
