I'm not personally interested in this very much. Its my opinion only though.
I'm good just with the knowledge that 8 hours is recommended. Hey, I have kids and 8 hours is not a very common occurrence lol

Not being able to go to sleep is a sign of overtraining.

I think this topic should be touched upon at least once, because without sleep, your muscles wont have time to repair, energy restoration, etc. Thats vital information really, for everyone, especially body builders

May need an age chart to show how it varies. I can go with about 6-7 hours and then I'm wide awake. My teenage daughters sleep in excess of 12-13 hours and still complain when I wake them for breakfast at 3:00pm.

Of course it is importaint!8-10 is perfect! also...the conditions during it should be put in the video...like humidity, temperature, level of comfort...kind of ovious things that you can control

it works in 90 minute times. for example, 1.5 hrs, 3 hrs, 4.5hrs, 6hrs, 7.5hrs, 9hrs, 10.5hrs, 12hrs, 13.5hrs, 15hrs. however its recommended that most people get between 6 and 10.5, and for people that exert themselves all day long then a 10.5 is recommended but people that generally have low stress and "desk jobs" then 6 is fine

I have a question about sleep. You need like 8-10 hours of sleep for your muscles to replair etc, etc. Well last night I woke up in the middle of the night about 6 hours of sleep and I woke up and it took I'd say about 30 minutes for me to fall back asleep, did those 30 minutes interupt the repairing of the muscles and whatever happens when you sleep? :s just curious

I think this is a great idea for a video, several facets.
1) those who dont sleep enough becuase they go to bed late and set an alarm why this hurts ability to add muscle how this hurts coordination and response time how to fix situation
2) those who are light sleepers or have other sleep problems basic sleep hygiene sleep aids, the slippery slope addiction not same as real sleep
Thats my basic outline for the video!

hmm....maybe a better title would be "Do a video about rest." Some people have lots of questions regarding adequate rest on body parts, maybe it would go well together with sleep? Just a suggestion...

I think that this is an essential video. People may know how to sleep, but there's probably a lot of college students, (me included) who can't get very good sleep and take it for granted. I think showing the advantages of a good nights sleep, and what it has to do with bodybuilding would make for a fantastic video!
Go for it Scoobs!!!
