hi everybody
lots of posts coming up on this topic. To be frank i am a great supporter of body-building for teens (13-17). Its a GREAT idea for a video. for myself.... i started lifting weights with DB when i was only 10. .... Not a good suggestive idea though because 10 yrs is to small. But fortunately my father was a body-builder too.... He was a student of MANOTOSH ROY (Mr Universe ist September 1951 in short class at London... the first Mr universe from asia). My father firstly rebuked me lifting his DB and told not to do at this age. Unlike Scooby says he suggested me to pull weighs from the age of 18 or so....I exclaimed "8 years to go!!!!" ... its impossible.... So i used to pull weights and give biceps curls in absence of my father. One day suddenly he got hold of me and said "No Dont i told not to do so?". I begged and implored that i am not lifting heavy and with correct technique. So one day he called upon me and said to go for running and stretching warm-ups. Then he stood in front of me and gave a light barbell and told me to demonstrate curling. I did. He exclaimed!!! "who taught you". I told him that it was you.... After seeing my eagerness he started teaching me when i was only 11. Lucky i am to get such a teacher...and spotter... I started using weight trainning for 3-4 days a week under his supervision when i was only 11. After that 15 years have passed by and NO injuries have occurred to me yet. SO MY SUGGESTION IS TEENS CAN DO BODY-BUILDING BUT UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF AN EXPERT. Learn the dos and dont's with correct technique. I am very much for a video for Teens and Body-building.(After all a have a son of 1 year old... HAHA one day i caught hold of him when he was playing with a 5 lbs plate!!! DANGEROUS!!!! i guess what he is going to do when he will be 10) ****BUT COME ON TEENS***** (bUT DON'T TRY TO BE A MACHO) just build up your body **My heartiest congrats to you all

When I was 2-3, my mom would go to physical therapy, and leave me in the waiting room with one of the receptionists watching me... I would roll the 20 pounds off of the shelf, and start picking it up like a deadlift at age 3... I got up to 25's I think, but not quite 30s. That being said, at age either 2 or 3, is when I got my hands on my first weight, and ever since I have been doing weight training. well, when I was about 7-12 I would do pushups all the time. Never very good at them.. but I could do them. Now, I do realy weights, with real routines. I mean, today I benched 245, and almost got up 250. I guaruntee if I try, next week I'll put up 250 if I try... But I have maxxed out twice so far in 2 weeks... I don't think I will, but I might.

To Pelon I am short.I am 5'7''. My parents are near about the same ht. . I will... not post any pictures.I feel.... ashamed and embarrassed many veins going here and there. Otherwise i could have given in my profile itself. But doing exercise with extremely light weights at that age haven't stunt my growth. How can i bury those "veins" is perhaps a big question...

LOL!
Most people here would DIE to have veins. I don't understand why you want them gone.
If you get fatter, you will lose veins. But you don't want that. Being muscular also causes veins.
Another important thing that causes veins is dehydration. Drink a lot of liquids always if you don't already do so.

He is. He said it in his past video: Bent over Rows. He didn't say exactly when, but he said it was coming up.
