I know I'm too young to lift, but everyone in my school who actually is good at lifting, started at a young age, Is there a way to get my maxes up, and still play it safe? I cant really stop lifting, because i have goal and I have pretty much focused my entire life and life plan around fitness and powerlifting.

This is a GREAT idea! I'm 16 now and been strength training for about two years, not sure if I will ever move on two weights. I kinda prefere being really strong for my weight rather than have alot of mass.

Would be lovely But is it really bad to start lifting weights under 17? I've hit the weights since 13-14

Nah lifting weight before 17 isn't that bad as long as you use light weight and high reps rather than the opposite.

what would he talk about in the video though that he hasn't already answered on his website?
also what would he do in his video, pushups, pullups, cardio, stuff hes already covered?
no need to do this video scooby people just need to read sometimes hes covered everything already on this subject

ive been bodybuilding for 5 months with fair results, and im 16 years old. theres also a guy called chad on the bulking up section who is also 16, and is ultra massive from super sets. i think these videos should be for 13-15 year olds, most 16+ people are good to go with bodybuilding.

An excellent idea, considering all these teens who think they should be starting to take whey and have 150+g of protein a day etc.. Scooby always says not to start weightlifting till age 17 but what can younger people do keep in shape? What kind of workouts are appropriate? How many days a week should be done and what exercises? How much cardio?
Maybe 2-3 dedicated cardio sessions a week (30-45min each) and 3-4 lots of [pressup/crunch/squat] type variation exercises to keep a decent level of fitness (all 3 exercises in one session). Also maybe mentioning that whilst it's a good habit to start branching out nutrition into lower fat/more meals/higher protein etc., it's really not very important when you're young, especially in comparison to getting a proper balanced diet. And stressing the need to join a team sport is much greater than following some workout timetable!!

I think this would be a good idea. I imagine a huge number of teens aspiring to get into body building are subscribed to you on youtube. Chances are they are doing the more advanced exercises as we speak.....You will probably save someone the pain of going through an injury with the video

i think he won't do it.
the topic is far too sensitive. i'll explain the reason.
your bodily development restricts what you can do and what not. that is not the problem, but the problem is the speed of bodily development: it varies.
scooby is unable to tell you what you can do and what not.
i think teens can do every non-"killer workout" routine of scooby without any problems.
