I found this video of my girlfriend kim strother (lol she is such a doll!!) a few weeks ago doing a butt workout....maybe this will help. It is a much lighter exercise than the typical squat exercise on the smith machine or something, so she might profit more from it.
This one looks pretty good for women too (more of a core exercise). I thought about trying this but...then again.....maybe some other time.

But what does SHE want, Justin? I suppose the guidelines for adding mass will work for the glutes, too... Does Scooby have a glutes video? Not that I have seen.

That video utterly plays on the toning view/spot fat removal myth in my opinion. Nah, the only decent one in the series is 8 minute abs!

I don't give a damn about what they say this will do. What interest me is the exercises presented. I did that couple of times and my legs trembled... That's why I suggested him to try it

In the early 90's (I think this was done about then) there were a bunch more people who thought that spot removal was a factual thing that could be done. Although, it does seem that the exercises that were presented were pretty good. I imagine that with good weight training that workout would be awesome.

FIrst thing is that weight of the leg itself is considerable. Second thing is that this is no rest session. And I tell you from my own experience, it's quite tiresome

Hey guys, if you're interested I found out that someone requested a video for the glutes, so you can vote there. I hope it is useful.

how often do you do 8 min abs?
the video is great and I am currently doing the intermediate workout. i lift weights three times a week (mon, wed, fri) and scooby's plan calls for 4 sets of crunches to failure on these three days. should i replace that with one 8 min ab workout? or should i do 4 8 min ab workouts? how about one before one after lifting?
thanks

Won't hurt to do the ab work at the beginning of each of those 3 sessions, then 8-min abs at the end of each of those sessions, or visa versa.
Wouldn't replace the straight crunches though - 8MA does bring a nice burn, but not the same as doing sets of crunches slowly and with good form until failure!
