Bulgarian Split Squats are another option.

-Sun

Bulgarian Split Squat!!!!!!!!!

Those are badass. Once I got a headache while doing them (I know, probably not breathing then, but they were hard...).

I get headaches when I max out my pushups or dips or pull ups... It hurts soooo bad! and it throbs and dosent go away!! But its cuz I don't breathe..  I try to but its hard to keep them rhythmic.

You don't need rythm really, just exhale in the positive part, and exhale in the negative part.

I wasn't aware you could gain "knee muscle".

Too me the knee was a joint not a muscle.

There are muscles that connect to the knee.

Well I must say leg extension is a good weight training for increasing knee strength when you 're doing it fast enough. I could barely jump but now when I walk up the stairs I usually just jump up for the last 4 steps and it is quite easy to do now. Since she doesn't go to gym, I think squating with weights and jumping exercses are good.

I would say squatting with big rubber bands instead of weights.

Hey all!

For a higher jump just stay tuned for the release of this FREE program. http://www.verticaljumping.com/logos.html  Right now you can read his 80 page free manual, I have already checked it, and it is quite good.

Also, you should check the website, for the author (Jack Woodrup) tries to give unbiased views and good info. Besides , he has some reviews about other programs.

Hope it helps.

I already knew all that, that is why I checked it before posting it. I even told Uglok about it and he said the link looked valuable, and the videos seemed useful. Besides, everything is FREE. I am also asking dodothebird to check the program. I checked the free 80 page manual and it the information in it seems good.

I posted it because for five months I have been looking for a useful program to increase my vertical jump. Well, I did not only find a good website, but I found a FREE and USEFUL website. My intention is to help people in my situation and save them time and effort.

Your agree not to promote supplements, products, newsletters, subscriptions, or services.

If it is free, and not only free but useful, would there be anything wrong with it? If that rule was applied strictly, then there should be no supplements section, don't you think? There is because it is useful, and I think that this link is. I am not getting any benefit from posting the link (except some karma maybe Tongue, or at least I hope so).

Really, what happened was that I checked as much information about vertical jump training, in the forum and in the web, and I the best thing I found was this one. That is the simple reason why I am posting it.

Anyway, you can check it by yourself, and then give me your opinion.

I did check it out, and it seems very helpful.

And I wasnt sure if that was allowed or not to advertise for another company.. but it is legit.
