I try to keep the background as brief as possible - if you need to know more, I do not mind providing more information.

In May I finally heard the click and I have lost weight ever since, but I also dragged around infamous 135 kgs, which is 50 kgs more than I should have.  I began working out with weights more, then I disovered Scooby's videos and I began doing cardio as well.  But I did my own version of the basic programm as it already felt a bit too easy (if nothing else I always did exercise a bit even before march).

Then I injured myself and was out for two weeks, but slacked off another - after which I left for my semester abroad.  Since the of September I have been working out at the local gym here (it is cheap for students and considering how cold it is, it was the sensible thing to to for my 3 month stay).  In the studio I began maxed out my weight limit andd also realised that I can not do a whole body work out three times a week - my muscles needed more time.

So for the last four weeks (not counting the last - thx to the flu) I have been doing 2 days with weights and 4-5 days doing cardio (between 30-60 min each day).  I have time for a workout every evening, and cardio followed by lifting or the other way around does not work well for me.  It seems to work well for me, as I continue to lose weight and I feel the positive effects of the muscle work out even though I do not see anything yet.

Should I just go on like this for the next 5 weeks? After that I certainly will do cardio every day because I have more time then and can do the weights in the morning.

Could I just do one day of full body work out (in the intermediate it says you should work each muscle once per week) or maybe split the workout to those two days.

I think it is definitely better to keep the other five days reserved for cardio.  At this point I try to do at least 40 Minutes if possible an hour and change between bike, crosstrainer , stepper and the treadmill (because that is my best option at home - and I do want to be able to jogg again one day).

Any thoughts on how to proceed? Or what I should think over?

If what you're doing now is working for you, I'd say don't change it very much.

It might be best to split your weight lifting to two days, so you'd be able to do a more intense workout each time for those muscles.

Because your goal at this point is to lose weight, the cardio does need to be your main focus. Doing the different kinds of cardio will help prevent you from getting bored with just one thing!

You shouldn't try to lose more than 1kg a week; more than that is not healthy. You may want to pay closer attention to your nutrition, see Scooby's site here ---> Nutrition and this site ---> Calorie and Nutrition Requirements can help you determine what your caloric intake should be. The important thing is to come up with a nutrition plan that you can stick with the rest of your life; that's how you can lose weight and not re-gain it.

If you think of any other questions, try searching this site; there have been a lot of discussion on losing weight that applies whether you're male or female. If you can't find an answer, ask!

ROFL if I was, I'd never pick a handle like that!

No, I don't have a YouTube account. I like to keep a low profile on the interwebs.
