David is a great example of someone who seems to store his fat evenly everywhere rather than in one place like the belly – a curse and a blessing. A blessing because this kind of fat distribution is not associated with heart disease and because it *looks* like muscle. A curse because it can lead one astray when trying to gain muscle because its so easy to mistake fat gain for muscle gain. People with this type of fat distribution need to measure their progress very carefully and accurately or they will end up fat rather than muscular!
