The world is my gym!

Free gym membership!!

Thats right, completely free with no contracts or obligations.

The world is my gym and I am willing to share it with you. Here you see my cardio machine (a bicycle), my ab workout station, my chest machine (the ground), and my back machine (pullup bars of various heights)! Even if you have a gym membership, give these free air workouts a try as they are truly liberating. Not only that but they force you into a totally different workout mode which gives your muscles that shock they need. Too easy? Try clapping pullups and clapping pushups then top it off with windshield wipers. You can make this “gym” as advanced and difficult as you want! If your skin green from being in that flourescent lit gym all the time? A little bit of outdoor workouts might be just what your vitamin D levels need!

Not only that, this gym is completely FREE!

  1. Thanks Scooby,
I even do pull-ups from some jetty rocks at the ocean.

You look like a giant! Is that tiny bike able to support you? LOL
How’s Helen doing? Well I hope.

  2. My gym is located right above my cubicle at work – the attic. I use the attached ladder to get up there and have all the privacy I want. I call the open space up there “Juan Hour Fitness” because I workout during my lunch break. Dumbells, a flat surface and a safe attached (pullup) bar is all I need. I’ve invited everyone in the office to join for “Free-Nintey-Nine” which is what I pay but so far I’m the only member. The only obstacle I’ve hit is not being able to use my jump rope but i’ve substituted them for much quieter Hindu Squats. I like your gym Scooby I hope you like mine. Love your website, I’ve learned A LOT!

  3. Thats a good Idea, I have three gyms. First the YMCA (kind of, because I live in Germany), with a gym, swimming hall and sport-courses (Zumba etc.). Second is my home gym, full of hall of shame devices, but hey, I need not to leave the house. Third is the forest, with won derfu ways to run and other exercises. They also have a sports way there, with some gymnastic devices, like rings. And there are also my bikes, stationary and street bike. That´s all what I need. And of course all the advises from Scooby.

    1. As I understood Scoobys encourages people to eat 5-6 well balanced meals a day (he has a video where he describes his daily routine concerning eating and has a dozen videos with simple recipes). When you have a well balanced diet you do not need ‘specialized’ meals that you only eat pre or post workout that have a ‘magic’ effect on muscle growth or fat loss.

      1. I think people would need more carbs before and afer an intense workout, so it’s not just 1 kind of meal people should stick to.
But I want to hear Scooby’s opinion about this.

  5. Highly commendable (and indeed in some parts of the UK they have turned sections of park into open air gyms) however other parts of the UK have inspectors where people have been prosecuted for holding open air exercise sessions (most notably in Central London where one exercise leader was charged with indecent exposure as he was wearing training shorts near a children’s playground)

    1. Yeah, the only bad thing about this “gym” is the haters. It fills some people with extreme rage when they see a bodybuilder working out.
Maybe it fills me with rage to see some people yelling and talking trash during a game of baseball at the park? Ridiculouse, and totally unfair considering I see non Bodybuilders going shirtless at parks all the time :/
