I would like to thank everyone who submitted entries to my success stories contest, you are all winners in my book. It was extraordinarily difficult and excruciatingly painful to prune the list down to 50 because there were so many awesome successes. If you are not included here, its not that your progress was not spectacular – it usually was. Often it was just a blurry photograph, a date/weight that didnt seem to match the photo, or some other administrative problem.

If your story is featured here, please email me your t-shirt size and full mailing address including your last name and country with the subject line “Success Story Winner” and I will send you a signed scoobysworkshop t-shirt. I will be mailing out the shirts on the 1st of September to give everyone a chance to get me their address. I have a few more success stories to add too.

Grand prize winner will be announced this summer.   Help me out, who do you think should be in the top 10???

I barely made my deadline of announcing winners before the 1st of June, close call.  This month, doing this contest has  take a toll on my work and my own training but I made my deadline :)  Thanks to Facebook and AskForum people being patient with my absense as I pulled this together.  I will only sporadically be on Facebook and the AskScooby Forum over the next 3 days as I pull my life back together.

  1. I really like your blog.. very nice colors & theme.
Did you design this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you?
Plz answer back as I’m looking to create my own blog and would like to find
out where u got this from. kudos

  2. Right here is the right web site for everyone who wishes
to understand this topic. You know a whole lot its almost hard
to argue with you (not that I personally would want to…HaHa).

You definitely put a new spin on a subject that’s been written about
for years. Excellent stuff, just wonderful!

  3. I know its not on subject exactly. but i just did a quick test about the push up thing to see it work for me. and boy howdy, you really are right. I did 3 sets of 25 slow push ups followed by two variations of the press with no rest, and it really was the business. Afterwards i did 25 push ups at a faster pace (for me i normally take about 1.5 seconds for a full push up) and those 25 were easy compared to 25 slow push ups. i will forever know that slow push ups is the key to building real strength!

  4. Hey Scooby, you are a real inspiration to me. I’m 14 years old, weighing 158 pounds and im 5’10. I have a question, I want to get 6 pack abs (yes, I have watched all your videos about it) and I eat healthy, do cardio.. But what quantity of food do I have to eat to lose weight? Because lately, I have been eating around 700-900 calories a day and about 2 liters of water. Am I doing it right or am I damaging my body?

Do yourself a favor and limit the initial list to ten. It will save you a lot of time that sounds like you don’t have much of. Otherwise, create a picture poll and let us do the work. Search Google for “photo vote” or “photo poll”, there are several options ready to plug in to your blog.

Scooby, I love the rest of your site, but was disappointed with about half of these entries. Maybe next time you should have a range of weight lost, inches lost/gained or some other criteria other than time. Some of the entries went from washboard abs to…well, washboard abs. There were some tremendous transformations that I saw, but those folks had to share the spotlight with people who were already low body fat. Maybe they got more fit, but the metrics of fitness were pretty spotty.

  7. Hello, I have a question about chest work outs. I have been working out for about 8 months and have seen an increase in overall size around my body but my chest especially the centre doesn’t show any definition or muscle mass. How could I work on this?

I’ve read most of the success stories of the winners and all of them are a true inspiration. They are the perfect example that through hard work and dedication nothing is out of reach. But I have a question for you Scooby, why didn’t you keep the previous success stories on your page? A drop down list below the “Success Stories Section” with the previous and this years contest winners each with it’s own page would’ve been for the best, IMO. The more examples, the better, especially for those who may have moments when they feel they want to give up. Reading some of these stories could help them.

Because the pages are in different formats and I was burnt out and out of time. At some point I may combine them but first I have a boatload of shirts to address and mail and a grand prize winner to choose.
