Powerlifters are cool, very supportive community. Old school bodybuilders are cool too, live and let live. Then there are the triggered folks – the intermittent fasters and the vegans. Live and let live does not work for them – they are constantly trying to convince everyone to join their religion.
Why is it that the Intermittent Fasters make it their lifes work to try and convince everyone else its the best thing since sliced bread? If you love IF, great, keep doing it but dont go around telling everyone about it all the time.
Show us your gainz!
We have no interest in hearing IF theories from insect-mode lifters. If you are an experienced lifter who plateaued with your lifting progress then switched to IF for a few years and have gains to show with before/after photos THEN we are very interested in hearing what you have to say about IF, the rest of you, be quiet. We are not interested in your newbie gains stories. We are not interested in IF muscular gains from steroid users either:
steroids + stupid nutrition = Gainz
I dont care what workout you do, all I care is that you love it because if you love it you will do it consistently and get results. On my page “The Best Workout” I try to help guide people to the right workout for them. There is no “best” workout for everyone and the best workout for you this month will not be the best workout for you next month.
I dont care what kind of nutritional style you use be it keto, low carb, vegetarian or vegan as long as you stick to unprocessed or minimally processed foods. Thats why my free custom meal planner at CustomMealPlanner.Com has every nutritional style. The quality of the food you eat is far more important than what its called, the macros, or when you eat it. Please dont allow a few forked tongue influencers with hidden agendas to brainwash you.
If you like IF, fine, do it, but stop spamming the internet with all your cherry picked research. Who are you trying to convince, yourself or us? Dont marry own ideas. Im first to admit when I am wrong like I was on the 5 day split, so what, I learned. If IF works, your muscular gainz will speak for themselves. If you dont get gainz then learn from that and move on.
Intermittent Fasting has pros and cons, please read about them! Alles Klar?
Why the rant against Intermittent Fasting?
Glad you asked. Greg O’Gallagher (Kinobody) has been spewing misinformation about the benefits of intermittent fasting for years now to help him sell useless workout programs. As is often the case, a single YouTube comment gives me an idea for a video. This is a comment I saw yesterday (May 13, 2020) which inspired this webpage and the accompanying video:
