Jonathan gains 15 pounds!
My name is Jonathan and I’m a 19 year old student at UC Santa Barbara. I first started watching your videos in the summer of 2009 between my sophomore and junior years of high school. At that time I had severely broken my wrist playing basketball and was in a cast up to my shoulder for 2 months and then a smaller cast for an additional month. As you can see from my before photo, I was doing anything to stay active! When I finally got out of the cast, I was only 115 lbs at 5’10”. My wrist was so weak and tight that I could not even hold myself in a push-up position. As soon as I regained mobility in my wrist I started doing your workouts, keeping realistic expectations in mind. Progress was slow, but by my senior year I had a six pack and was up to 130 lbs. I’ve continued to lift weights 5 days a week and play basketball everyday. I can’t thank you enough for getting me started on this fitness journey. My self confidence has skyrocketed, and I love going into workouts knowing I come out just a little bit better than i was yesterday. I’m currently 142 pounds at 5’11”.
